Literature Text

Cold winter morning,
Sitting naked in the snow,
Love lost, want yearning,
Rip out my heart,
Away to throw.

Ice as thick as stone,
Leaning against the wall,
Pushed out of my home,
Rejected - my world feels so small.

Trembling without hope,
No light to shine,
No words that might rhyme,
Tears bled from marrow deep,
Panic hysteria, death creep.

Far away towers burning down,
The night has come,
To lay its curtain down.
Anger and desperation,
Sink deeper, breath missing,
No resurrection.

Sitting in that small chair,
Next to me.
We look to the far away,
Trembling to see.
My soul was gone that day,
You turned around and went away.
